Museums Hall
Evolution: Fossils of different countries and times, replica of a tyrannosaur skull and a plateosaur, a pteranodon (wingspan of 7 meters) busts of primitive men
Anatomy: true skeletons of animals and man help you to locate the position of bones
Human biology: the development of the human embryo and preparations of all human organs
Anatomy: form and function of human organs
History of civilization: mummies, skulls and shrunken heads

You get an idea of 600 million years of evolution of animals and humans, human biology and history of civilization. The KULTURAMA is an "interdisciplinary educational museum". It gives an overview of 600 million years of evolution of animals and humans, human biology and various aspects of the human history of civilization. The museum combines natural sciences with the history of civilization and offers its visitors two interesting trips through time: One leads through 600 million years of evolution to the first highly developed civilizations. On the second floor, the visitor gets to know the development of a human being. The evolution of mankind is made obvious by various natural-looking busts of primitive men. There are many exceptional items in the exhibit and they are essential to understand evolution. Below the ceiling of the large exhibit room "flys" the skeleton of a pterdoactyl with a wingspan of 7 meters. The link between primeval times and the present time can be established by comparing true skeletons of animals and man of different ages.!

There are various desks with special objects or fossils and a "sherlock bones" explains the various bones on a skeleton.

"Erlebnispfad"
The second floor includes the "Erlebnispfad". That area was set up especially for school children and for teenagers. many hands-on activities, games and other visual aids give them the oportunity to explore:
- the human body
- the animal
- the evolution of animals and mankind
- aspects of the Stone Age.

To touch is allowed!
Did you ever listen to the heartbeat of a shrew? Do you want to test your hearing? Have you ever touched a real mammoth tooth? All of this and much more you can experience in the "Erlebnispfad". Beside a lot of experiments there are computers with games and explications.

Special Exhibition
