The exhibition shows how prehistory still influences our lives today. It makes us see the present in a different way and raises questions about the future. An interdisciplinary and interactive search for clues for all ages.
What do cave drawings have in common with smartphones? What innovations influence our daily coffee breaks? How cold was it in the Ice Age compared to a winter day today? Why is it unlikely that we will ever become fossils? What does our current energy needs have to do with the invention of fire?
The temporary exhibition «Can you find prehistory in your life?» takes you on an exciting journey through time. In this exhibition, we take a look far back to see the present in a different light and to think about the future. Some questions will be answered, others will remain open and new ones will arise. They make the present and your own lifetime a snapshot in the flow of history.
