Groups can select a guided tour or workshop from our offers for individual visitors. Our guided tours include various activities tailored to the audience’s preferences and the topic. Please have a look at our offered tours. Our tours take 60 to 90 minutes and can be booked for any day from Tuesday to Sunday between the hours of 9 am and 8 pm. Outside of these times, a supplement of CHF 200 is applied. All offers are available in German, English and Spanish.

All offers can be rounded off with an apero.
Accessibility
All areas are fully accessible, with the exception of the exhibition “How we learn”, which is located in an annex building and involves steps. Further information on accessibility and available services can be found here.

The history of the development of life is explained from the evolution of animals and plants up to modern man.
A timeline through the millions of years of the development of prehistoric animals awaits you. Face to face with human ancestors, you will learn about the history of the development of modern man. You can also integrate the «discovery trail» into this guided tour.
